This Privacy Policy describes how STANIMEROS PANTELEIMON ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use Chronal and related services. Other apps by the same developer may collect different data; see each app's policy page for details.
By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Depending on how you use the app, the following may be stored only on your device and not transmitted to us:

You may be able to delete this data in the app (e.g. Settings → Clear data), by uninstalling the app, or through your device settings.

We do not require you to create an account with your real name, email, or phone number unless the app explicitly asks for it.

- Background Location: When you have granted the "Allow all the time" location permission, the app may collect your GPS coordinates continuously in the background. This is required to enable location-based features of the service.

- Storage: Location data is transmitted securely and stored within our cloud infrastructure, using industry-standard security practices.
- Retention: Location data is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion by contacting us.
- Opting out: You can revoke background location access at any time through your device settings. Go to Settings → Apps, select the app, then Permissions → Location. Revoking access will disable location-dependent features.

Chronal uses Google Firebase and related Google services, which may include:

- Cloud Firestore / Realtime Database — Stored submissions or app data
- Firebase Storage — File and content delivery
- Firebase Crashlytics — Crash reports and device state to fix bugs
Google processes this data on our behalf as a service provider. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Other third parties may be used where relevant, for example:
- • Google Play / Apple App Store — purchases, subscriptions, or in-app review prompts (payment handled by the store)
We do not sell your personal information.
Data described in this policy may be shared with service providers (such as Google Firebase) solely to operate and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information and do not share your data with third parties for their own advertising purposes.
We do not collect, store, or share any API keys or service account keys. Any API keys or service account keys that you may use with our services are your sole responsibility.
We are not liable for any lost API keys, service account keys, or any billing charges incurred through the use of your keys. You are solely responsible for your actions and the use of your API keys and service account keys, including any associated costs, charges, or consequences resulting from their use.
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information:

On-device data: Kept until you delete it in the app, clear app storage, or uninstall.

This app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

We use third-party service providers based in the USA for analytics and infrastructure. These providers participate in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and process data under Standard Contractual Clauses, providing adequate protection under GDPR Art. 46.

- • Analytics cookies: used to understand how visitors interact with the site. Only set after you give consent. Retained for up to 14 months.
